Making measurement more efficient: the Coffee Data Project

The Global Coffee Platform, the Rainforest Alliance and COSA have joined forces to align sustainability metrics for the coffee sector in a new initiative: the Coffee Data Project.
Based on a broad understanding of common indicators, the Coffee Data Project aims to distill the most widely used practices and metrics as well as develop a technical standard to facilitate data interoperability & exchange which will enable the reporting of impact against the Sustainable development Goals SDGs.
The project is supported by the ISEAL Innovations Fund.
Apart from coffee producers, traders, roasters, the Coffee Data Project also invites financial institutions and technology providers to participate in this process.
