Sustainable Coffee Dialogue #1: Unlocking Climate-friendly Coffee Investment in Southeast Asia

The inaugural Sustainable Coffee Dialogue webinar organized by USAID Green Invest Asia and Global Coffee Platform (GCP) is the first in a series of 2021-2022 webinars focused on low-carbon coffee production through improved land-use that can support smallholders to adapt to climate change and increase climate resilience of coffee landscapes.
The event’s aims are awareness-raising and capacity-building of coffee companies to respond to climate change, including through low-carbon sourcing. Partners USAID Green Invest Asia and GCP will provide an overview of the series’ objectives, expected outcomes, and the results of an industry survey conducted to further refine future webinar topics.
The webinar will also include a panel discussion with partners Nestlé and Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE) addressing climate change through low-carbon coffee sourcing and value chain co-creation to provide coffee buyers space to discuss challenges and opportunities for low-carbon coffee sourcing in the region.Time
