Baseline Studies for GCP Collective Action Programs in Kenya and Uganda 

GCP is seeking the services of a qualified organization to conduct a baseline study for the GCP Collective Action Programs in Uganda and Kenya. The main objective of the assignment is to set baseline information for the indicators set out in the program Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Plans for the two countries.  

More specifically, the baseline study will: 

  • Establish baseline data for the set indicators against which progress, and impact of the program can be measured. 
  • Assess the current socio-economic status of smallholder coffee farmers in Uganda and Kenya. 
  • Identify key challenges and opportunities in the coffee value chain. 

This study will provide a comprehensive understanding of the starting point for the program, enabling effective monitoring and evaluation of its progress and impact over time.
