GLOBAL COFFEEPLATFORM

Communication and Education take center stage in Indonesia in 2020

The Indonesia Country Platform is focussed on communication and education in 2020 – issues especially important in a time of COVID-19. The platform  is leveraging opportunities for knowledge sharing and identifying new avenues to enhance communication channels for all coffee-related matters.

Indonesia Forecast for 2020

  • 8 Coffee Discussions (Diskusi Kopi/DISKO)
  • SCOPI Forum to be held in conjunction with the Members Meeting
  • 1 Regional Stakeholders Coordination Meeting
  • Upscaling communication and outreach activities through developing communication strategy, maintenance of social media channels, website revitalization, and bi-monthly newsletter (KAPUCINO).
  • Making progress in developing measurement tools towards 2021.
  • Continuing the dissemination of 2nd Edition of National Sustainability Curriculum for Robusta and Arabica Coffee through Master Trainers as well as Training of Trainers and Farmers Leaders

As a national platform for sustainable coffee production in Indonesia, SCOPI continues to strive to promote public-partnerships in improving coffee productivity. We are working to understand our stakeholders’ aspirations and use this to inform our work and to help us foster collaborative action with our members, partners, and communities.
