Watch the webinar Gender: from Research, to Commitment, to Action!

Gender equity provides an integral pillar on which to build strong coffee communities and supply chains. However, it is not yet a reality, and given the complexity and scale of the challenge, it can be difficult to identify an efficient approach.

To commemorate the International Coffee Day, the International Coffee Organization and the Global Coffee Platform brought you the webinar: “Gender: from Research, to Commitment, to Action!”

The webinar spotlights the gender gaps in the coffee supply chain as identified in a study published by the International Coffee Organization (ICO) and to be launched formally on 1st October. Effectively addressing these identified gaps requires a collaborative approach through which knowledge sharing and improvements are best accelerated. Participants will learn about concrete engagement opportunities for collective action at origin and build the foundation for gender equality across coffee value chain.
