We are very happy to welcome more stakeholders to the GCP. This month, the following new members have joined us:
- Corporación de Productores Café Perú (Peru). Café Perú is a company formed by coffee cooperatives dedicated to providing technical and production, financial, agribusiness and commercial services. These services allow producer organizations to access national and international markets.
- Tin Thanh Dat Co Ltd (Vietnam), Intermediary Buyer.
- Aviário Santo Antônio Ltda (Brazil), coffee producer.
- Finca la Bendición (Nicaragua), coffee producer.
- G4 Empreendimeentos e Participações Ltda (Brazil). Funded in 2011, they center their activities in the wholesale of ground coffee.
- Yapensa (Indonesia). Founded in 2008, Yapensa specialises in assisting farmers in the region of Gowa and Takalar.
- The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Uganda. Funded in 1967, IITA is a leading research partner in finding solutions for hunger, malnutrition, and poverty. They work with partners to enhance crop quality and productivity, reduce producer and consumer risks, and generate wealth from agriculture. They also work on the following crops: banana/plantain, cassava, cocoa, coffee, cowpea, maize, soybean, and yam.
- Inversiones y Exportadora Jamastran de RL (Honduras), specialized in Trade & Industry.
- Koorali Coffee Estate (Kenya), coffee producers.
- UCA San Juan del Rio Coco RL (Nicaragua). They are one of the first organizations that produced and commercialized organic coffee in Nicaragua since 1993. UCA SJRC is the union of 8 cooperatives that include 370 small coffee producers (80 women and 290 men.
