Report your coffee sustainability progress with GCP Collective Reporting
GCP invites coffee roasters and retailers to participate in the next round of Collective Reporting on Sustainable Coffee Purchases for calendar year 2022 – an important tool to drive coffee sustainability and a way for roasters and retailers to collectively expand the demand and supply of sustainable coffee.
As a tool for transparency, the GCP Snapshot helps foster the trust required for the pre-competitive collaboration needed to reach sustainability at speed and scale.
The fourth edition of the GCP Snapshot on Sustainable Coffee Purchases will be publish in Q3 next year, with reporting kicking off in April 2023.
“Participating in GCP’s annual Snapshot of Sustainable Coffee Purchases offers coffee roasters and retailers the valuable opportunity to collectively show information about sustainability commitments and progress in collaboration with like-minded peers,” said GCP Senior Advisor, Mary Petitt.
Coffee consumers, corporate shareholders and investors expect increasing access to transparent information on our industry’s sustainability strategies, progress and outcomes. The GCP Snapshot contributes this very information to the sector.”
During a recent webinar, participants in the 2021 GCP Snapshot of Sustainable Coffee Purchases shared their enthusiasm for GCP Collective Reporting by citing individual and sector benefits including the key role transparency plays in stimulating the demand for sustainable coffee purchases and how the Snapshot promotes this in the market.
GCP invites ICO London Declaration signatories, national brand roasters, private label roasters and coffee retailers to join the 2022 reporting to further drive the demand for sustainable coffees.
