GCP at Expo Londrina in Brazil
GCP participated in the Expo Londrina in Paraná State in Brazil, a huge agricultural fair which takes place over 11 days involving 500,000 visitors and USD 133 million in business.
Pedro Ronca, Brazil Program Manager, gave a presentation to a group of 400 small coffee growers, a significant number for a state that used to be the 1st Brazilian coffee sourcing and now is the 6th.
EMATER-PR, a public extension service and a GCP partner, embedded sustainability and the Coffee Sustainability Curriculum (CSC) in its actions. The GCP presentation showed actions in progress and focused on the 18 Fundamental Items of the CSC.
