Annette Pensel, GCP Executive Director, visits Brazil
The Global Coffee Platform Executive Director, Annette Pensel, spent several days in Brazil for meetings with GCP members and partners in early June.
The trip included participation at the National Advisory Board (NAB) meeting that was also attended by José Dauster Sette, the Executive Director of the International Coffee Organization (ICO). This high-level meeting impressed Sette, who shared his positive perception of the level of maturity of the Brazilian National Platform and the relevance of the subjects it is addressing.
Annette also attended Cecafé´s Coffee Dinner and Summit, one of the largest coffee events in Brazil that brings together coffee stakeholders from Brazil and abroad, met several GCP members and personally handed GCP Membership Certificates to some of them.
