As part of GCP Executive team as Director of Partnership & Investment, Suzanne leads resource mobilization efforts and expansion of strategic multi-stakeholder partnerships for the benefit of smallholder coffee farmers.
Before joining GCP, Suzanne was Director of Global Partnerships & Alliances at Heifer International, where she spent 13 years mobilizing resources and negotiating multi-stakeholder partnerships to support smallholder coffee, spice, vetiver and cocoa farmers in Latin America, Africa and Asia. She brings extensive expertise in global private sector funding partnerships, working with US and foreign government entities and peer NGOs, as well as field staff and indigenous communities.
Suzanne also served a two-year term on the American Spice Trade Association (ASTA) Board, representing the concerns and challenges of smallholder spice farmers at origin, as well as speaking out on issues related to human rights, child labor and sustainability.
Prior to joining Heifer, she fundraised for several US political candidates, from presidential and congressional down to the grassroots level. She has additional experience as a media spokesperson, diplomatic liaison, and in sales for a Fortune 500 company.
Suzanne holds a BA in international studies, French minor from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. She has studied French, German and Spanish. Suzanne is currently based in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.
