The Global Coffee Platform will offer members and non-members the chance to increase their knowledge about the organization and extend their network with two special events taking place the 13th of February, just before the 16th African Fine Coffee Conference & Exhibition kicks off.

A chance to discover the National Coffee Platforms

GCP will host session four on ‘Global and National Collaboration to Support Sustainable Productivity for African Coffees’. Listen in and be part of the discussion as the Kenyan and Ugandan Coffee Platforms will present how they are addressing the issue of economic viability of coffee farming followed by a discussion with representatives of National Coffee Platforms and supply chain actors.

AFCA’s Coffee Sustainability Workshop ahead of AFCA Conference will take stock of progress and create awareness of key sustainability challenges facing the African Coffee Sector and explore possible solutions and partnerships to address these challenges. The focus of the day is the challenge of sustainable productivity in the coffee sector with special emphasis to farmer organization and partnerships, gender and youth, research and their effects on sustainable productivity.
